A repository lets you add our software package(s) to those available for automatic installation and updating.
To simply download the programme for Ubuntu Linux, please go back to the downloads page and select the Ubuntu Download.

To add our repository to your list, follow these steps for using either a graphical interface or the terminal:

Graphical Method
In the Ubuntu Menu, go to:
System-->Administration-->Synaptic Package Manager-->Settings-->Repositories-->Third-party software-->Add
The Synaptic Package Manager will prompt you to enter your password to continue. When you click on 'Add', you will see a window asking for you to enter an 'APT Line' Enter the following.
deb http://ubuntu.openfracas.org hardy/
And click on 'Add Source', and exit the 'Software Sources' dialogue.

Now that we've added the reposotory, we must install the programme.

In the toolbar, click the 'Update' button.
Once this has completed, click on 'Search' and enter 'openfracas'. This should now show the openfracas package ready to be installed.
Click on the box next to it, and from the popup menu select 'Mark for Installation'. Next, click 'Apply' in the toolbar and the package will be installed.

Open a terminal and enter (copy) the following:
echo 'deb http://ubuntu.openfracas.org hardy/' | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
Press Enter. Now you must re-download all lists of available packages. Enter (copy) the following into the terminal:
sudo apt-get update
Press Enter. The final step is to request that the openfracas package be installed. In the terminal, enter (copy):
sudo apt-get install -y openfracas
